Digitization and New Work give digital talents new opportunities – especially women.

Through its 35 remarkable events spanning 4 continents, The Nomad Escape has already trained over 1,000 professionals.

In December, the Nomad Island Fest takes place for the fourth time with over 150 participants from over 30 countries.

Since its inception, The Nomad Escape has successfully trained more than 1,000 location-independent professionals, entrepreneurs, and teams from over 50 countries on four different continents. The trainings have already happened in places like Bali, Madeira Island, or Tulum in Mexico. The goal of the retreats is to offer digital talents a home for a limited amount of time to learn, network, and exchange ideas with like-minded people.

Digitization, New Work, and changing values in society, especially in the Western world, have led to an urge among young digital talents, in particular, to perform independently of location. In doing so, they combine creativity and a willingness to perform with an individual lifestyle. Young talents are becoming successful entrepreneurs while traveling the world.

CEO and founder Michelle Maree was a digital nomad herself for many years and quickly realized that location-independent work offers wonderful opportunities but also challenges. In 2019, The Nomad Escape was founded to provide a home for this global movement, at least temporarily.

The purpose of the organization is to provide a place for learning, networking, and exchange. “I am delighted that we’ve had the privilege of training more than 1,000 location-independent professionals from over 50 countries on four continents since 2019,” comments Michelle Maree, CEO & Founder of The Nomad Escape.

In December, The Nomad Island Fest will take place for the fourth time. The over 150 attendees from all around the world will have the opportunity to engage with fellow entrepreneurs, share insights, and gain knowledge from industry experts on various topics. Set against the serene backdrop of Madeira’s sunsets, the event aims to provide a platform for meaningful professional interactions and learning. Last year, for example, Cameron Herold, also known as The CEO Whisperer, was one of the speakers. This year again, numerous excellent speakers will be on site.
